“Quentin, we have a problem.”

“Casey, you know I hate when you say that.”

Quentin walked down the long marble halls of the Minneapolis Institute of Art, the MIA, which was hardly missing in action. The place was bustling with activity.

“I’m down at the new display, and you’re really going to hate what I’ve found,” Casey said into his cell phone.

“What? The jock straps on display?”

“The history of the uniform is far from jock straps on parade, but I think we ordered the mannequins from the wrong place.”

Quentin ran up the marble staircase to the second floor, heading in his direction. “Why? What’s wrong? Did we get women? Children?”

“Worse,” Casey said as he inserted the arm into the mannequin and stepped back.

“We’re gay men, and I know all we wanted were men. What did we get? Dogs and cats?”

“You’ll have to see it to believe it.” Then he laughed.

Quentin passed the information desk and slipped under the rope with the sign Installation in Progress. “I’m almost to the display area. Which room are you in?”

“I’m in the locker room.”

“Ooh, my favorite one.”

“Mine too.”
